Jed came to Waldingfield in the spring of 2010 and quickly proved to be the missing link in our business/farm operations. Today he is the farm’s Manager. Originally from the midwest, Jed earned his JD from Seattle University School of Law before relocating to the sandy beaches and perpetual sunshine of O’ahu, Hawaii. After four years in Honolulu and one year serving as a chambers attorney in the Westchester County courts system (New York), Jed transitioned to the farm and has never looked back.
As the farm Manager, his responsibilities include, but are not limited to, running all daily field operations, developing and implementing our greenhouse and high tunel seeding program, operating and maintaining all farm machinery, implementing new techniques, and running the farm crew.
